This painting of the Pacific Northwest coastal forest reminds me of an ancient Hebrew song: “And you shall go out in joy, be led forth in peace, the mountains and the hills shall break forth before you into singing, and all the trees, the trees will clap their hands.” Here too, the trees rustle and creak in the coastal winds, clapping their hands, and the birds fill the forests with song!
